States with Highest Population Density

The National Capital Territory of Delhi also has a very high population density of 11,320 persons per square kilometer, making it one of the most densely populated states in India.
States with Lowest Population Density
Arunachal Pradesh is the state with the lowest population density, with only 17 persons per square kilometer. This is followed by Sikkim with 86 persons per square kilometer, and Mizoram with 102 persons per square kilometer. The population density in Andaman and Nicobar Islands is also very low, with only 46 persons per square kilometer.
